What makes a boutique inn really stand out for me is the sense of being integrated into the place where it is. The Inn at Arch Cape accomplishes that perfectly. Adorable.

My advice: Sink into one of the room’s comfortable chairs and watch the fire.

“If you're thinking of getting away to a relaxed little hideout — this is the spot to book. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a great weekend tucked away here. Chris and Heather had several thoughtful touches to make the stay perfect. Our room was a short stroll from the beach and the inn is in a nice quiet non-touristy area of the coast. We had the beach to ourselves. We also really enjoyed the history of the spot and loved that our closet was essentially a community library and we got to explore all the books there. Even if it was a rainy Oregon coast weekend, we stayed cozy with our fireplace and all the heating. Plus, Chris and Heather were great for sending helpful messages and area recommendations for local restaurants we'd never tried before that were awesome! Super helpful, and would really recommend staying here.” — Lauren S.

“A lovely and quiet space to enjoy the beach, the town, and cozying inside. The Inn is so clean, comfortable, and close to the beach. I recommend to anyone heading into Oregon looking for a quiet weekend. Chris is thoughtful and responsive. Couldn’t ask for better!” — Karen S.

“This is a fantastic, charming getaway! Steps from the beach, cozy and comfortable. Hospitality was impeccable, too.” — Amy D.

“So many wonderful things to say about this place! The property is absolutely lovely & my room was super cozy & had a cabin like aesthetic that felt just like home. Added bonus was that I could enjoy my stay with my dog and he loved the place as much as I did. Heather & Chris even had a vase of flowers waiting for me when I arrived - so sweet!! Only a few steps away, is a beautiful beach for a sunset stroll, and the locals I passed by on my walk, were all very friendly. Heather & Chris gave great restaurant recommendations .. lots of good places to check out! Nearby is the town of Manzanita which is an absolute gem of a town!! Loved my stay & will absolutely be back again! Thank you Heather & Chris!” — Lori Ann V.

“We had a wonderful stay at The Inn at Arch Cape. It's an incredible spot and the room was clean and cozy - perfect for what turned out to be a rather rainy weekend. Chris was great to communicate with and we loved all the personalized touches - including a little New Years Eve basket with treats to help us celebrate. This has become our favorite place to stay on the coast.” — Lucie L.

“We were so happy that we booked early to ensure a spot at this precious inn. First, the rooms are actually more like perfect little apartments than standard hotel rooms. It felt like home. Room 5 was, in fact, once the private apartment of the woman who ran the inn back in the 1950s. Second, the hospitality was splendid. Whatever we needed or requested, appeared at our door, neatly packaged for us, within minutes. Remarkable in this day of cookie-cutter hotels.” — Charlotte S.

“From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, we knew the inn was the spot for us. It was perfect in every way. The fireplace, the decor, the beautiful wood interiors, the outdoor deck, the manicured garden… Thank you Heather & Chris for preserving this Oregon treasure.” — Sandra N.

“Needing a quiet spot for two days of uninterrupted work, I visited The Inn at Arch Cape, arriving on a rainy Tuesday afternoon. With a warm fire glowing in the fireplace, I set up my laptop and proceeded to have one of the most productive work stretches I can ever remember. Quiet and comfortable, my room was an ideal spot for focused thinking and writing. And when I needed a break, it was nice to clear my head with some fresh ocean air down at the beach. Already planning my next trip. Thanks.” — Brad P.

“The Inn at Arch Cape has lived many lives prior to becoming a cozy boutique hotel removed from the bustle of Cannon Beach. From post office to general store to small inn, it’s always been a part of the little coastal community of Arch Cape. My family has been visiting Arch Cape for years and have stayed at the inn probably a dozen times. We’re so lucky that it’s in the hands of such caring, thoughtful owners. Their devotion to the property is evident in so many ways from the amenities to the gardens to the housekeeping regimen. We are looking forward to our next stay.” — D.N.

“The motto here is ‘Get Cozy’ and wow, is that easy to do! After exploring the rain-soaked beach, we snuggled up to the fireplace and stayed very cozy and warm. The personal touches like the hand-written welcome note, well-stocked little kitchen and clear instructions for the TV made our stay fantastic. If you stay in room 2, check out the awesome historical reference in the closet. Also, one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed! Lovely place, great location - we’ll be back.” — Kristina D.

“This Inn is such a special spot! Absolutely beautiful and clean with local and historical touches. Chris was extremely helpful giving local recommendations and responded to questions quickly. Simply cannot recommend this place enough!” — Kaitlyn M.

“Thank you for a lovely stay! The way it’s laid out and decorated, The Inn feels more like a small cabin or cottage than a cookie-cutter hotel room. We’ve now stayed in three of the six rooms (Room 4, Room 3 and Room 6) and each has its own unique charm and layout. Perhaps the favorite part of our stay was quietly sitting by the firepit each afternoon reading our books. We are genuinely grateful to you — Heather and Chris — for taking such wonderful care of us, and the little inn.” — Joleen Z.

“Chris and Heather's inn was a fantastic getaway from the city life. It's located perfectly between Cannon Beach and other cute little towns, and is located right off of a beautiful beach. Chris was super friendly and quick to provide recommendations. The inn itself is beautiful and our room was incredibly cozy, peaceful, and clean! The bed was comfortable and I loved the little touches, like the library of books from the time before the inn was an inn. We were sad we only had one night and can't wait to come back.” — Max D.

“We’ve been visiting Cannon Beach for more than 20 years. During our visits, we’d drive to Hug Point and Oswald West and talk about staying in Arch Cape sometime. This year, we did. Who knew that driving 5 minutes south could make such an amazing difference. Wide beaches, no crowds, close to Cannon Beach and Manzanita. And the inn was such an enchanting place to spend three nights. We will be back!” — Raymond & Terry C.

“This place is magic. I was looking for some healing down time and this place delivered. It’s a one minute walk to the beach and a 5-minute drive into Cannon Beach. Chris was amazing and if I needed anything he was there in a jiffy! I cannot say enough great stuff and would absolutely recommend this place. I cannot wait to go back!” — Priscilla F.

“We found our second stay at The Inn at Arch Cape to be every bit as lovely as our first. Such darling, comfortable, meticulously clean rooms. We adore the little touches — fresh flowers in the room when we arrived, beach bikes that we could borrow for a ride down to Hug Point, firewood supplied each day, a pet basket for our dog. Thank you for preserving this delightful Oregon Coast gem.” — Ruth & Stephen M.

“Arch Cape/Cannon Beach is really one of the fave places I’ve ever been and this place made it even better. Think cozy friend’s cabin on the gorgeous Oregon coast that feels welcoming but private at the same time. This place really feels like a friend owns it and they invited you up for the weekend to treat yourself. So many little touches that show the owners really care about you being as comfy as you can. Like having cut wood next to the fireplace with paper to light it and the dog-friendly suites they provide a welcome dog basket. Will for sure stay here again.” — Viviana D.
