“If you're thinking of getting away to a relaxed little hideout — this is the spot to book. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a great weekend tucked away here. Chris and Heather had several thoughtful touches to make the stay perfect. Our room was a short stroll from the beach and the inn is in a nice quiet non-touristy area of the coast. We had the beach to ourselves. We also really enjoyed the history of the spot and loved that our closet was essentially a community library and we got to explore all the books there. Even if it was a rainy Oregon coast weekend, we stayed cozy with our fireplace and all the heating. Plus, Chris and Heather were great for sending helpful messages and area recommendations for local restaurants we'd never tried before that were awesome! Added bonus was that I could enjoy my stay with my dog and he loved the place as much as I did. Heather & Chris even had a vase of flowers waiting for me when I arrived - so sweet!! Only a few steps away, is a beautiful beach for a sunset stroll, and the locals I passed by on my walk, were all very friendly. “We were so happy that we booked early to ensure a spot at this precious inn. First, the rooms are actually more like perfect little apartments than standard hotel rooms. It felt like home. Room 5 was, in fact, once the private apartment of the woman who ran the inn back in the 1950s. Second, the hospitality was splendid. “Needing a quiet spot for two days of uninterrupted work, I visited The Inn at Arch Cape, arriving on a rainy Tuesday afternoon. With a warm fire glowing in the fireplace, I set up my laptop and proceeded to have one of the most productive work stretches I can ever remember. “The motto here is ‘Get Cozy’ and wow, is that easy to do! After exploring the rain-soaked beach, we snuggled up to the fireplace and stayed very cozy and warm. Think cozy friend’s cabin on the gorgeous Oregon coast that feels welcoming but private at the same time. This place really feels like a friend owns it and they invited you up for the weekend to treat yourself. So many little touches that show the owners really care about you being as comfy as you can. “The Inn at Arch Cape was one of the most amazing places. Chris and Heather have thought of everything. From the flowers, to the use of local products in each room. The place is exactly as described. I enjoyed a fire both nights and had plenty of firewood. The bed was so comfortable I woke up thinking I was at home in my own bed. Chris also recommended some great places to eat. I will definitely make a point to come back and stay there I feel like I just scratched the surface with things to do.
